ABOUT:

Anna Fransisca was born on the west coast of Sweden 1975, on midsummers day.

She was a natural in drawing, and made her first oilpainting at age 7.

​

At age 12 she had her first collective exhibition and from there on she painted on regular basis.

​

Nature and horses have always been strong drives in her art, and she´s continually tries to examine the bonds, or lack thereof, between mankind and her origins.

​

In her sculptural works a rawer side of her aesthetics shows, and she´s often said she feels more free with the hands-on materials.

​

She´s classically trained in Florens and contemporary examined in Glasgow.

​
